Being out of shape adds weight which causes issues. Lack of exercise leaves airways shallow and prone to blockage.

You put these two factors together and being out of shape hits you with a double whammy of risk with a single solution.

10. Genetics

Obviously much harder to deal with than some of the others on this list, the genetic component of snoring ranges, as would be expected.

Some may be victim to looser air passageways, more give in the nose and throat creating more chance for vibrations to occur.

Others may have sonorous nasal cavities that allow sound to echo about.

Some may find themselves with a predisposition to addictive behavior such as smoking or overeating.
